Feeding-bottle: When you assemble the baby’s bottle, place the nipple through the bottom of the screw ring and pull upwards until a click sound is produced. Make sure that the baby bottle is well assembled before feeding your baby. If you warm the bottle in warm water, dry it well before giving it to your baby. Do not overheat as it could cause burns and remember to shake it well so that the temperature is evenly distributed. Consult your baby’s paediatrician on the best way to preserve, warm and transport the baby’s food. Always check the food temperature before feeding your baby.
Pacifier: Use the pacifier with caution, it is useful and has important advantages for your baby:
• As its name suggests, its important function is to pacify, comfort and ease the baby.
• With suction stimulating effect in preterm babies who have immature sucking reflex at birth making nutritive sucking and feeding difficult. Protecting effect during sleep: there is clear scientific evidence showing that if baby uses a pacifier during sleep the risk of suddent infant death syndrome is reduced (SIDS).
Precautions: To prevent possible risk of choking, please check the pacifier nipple every day, specially when your baby’s first teeth come in. If the pacifier nipple is sticky, enlarged, cracked or shows other signs of excessive wear, replace the pacifier immediately. Do not cover the nipple with sweet substances (syrup, honey, marmalade, etc.) because it can lead to tooth decay.
Bottle and Nipple Cleaning Brush: Use brushes with lukewarm water and neutral detergent (bristles could deteriorate at high temperatures).
Pacifier Holder: Check the clip before using it; if you find signs of wear such as cracks, breaks or other, replace with a new one. We do not recommend to fasten the clip to laces, ribbons or loose parts of clothes. Do not try to increase the length of the ribbon by any means, as this could result into a possible accident. We do not recommend to use the clip when your baby is sleeping. It is important to adjust the clip well, but not excessively, since in case the clip pulls from the baby, the clip should be easily released. Do not use ribbons or straps to hold the pacifier around the baby’s neck: this can represent a risk of strangulation. Fasten the ribbon to the pacifier and the clip to your baby’s clothes.

Tongs: Use them to place and remove from boiling the baby´s elements that you need to sterilize.
Sieve funnel: Use it to avoid lumps when you prepare formula milk powder.
Soap: Use on damp skin until a lather is produced. Rinse with plenty of water.
Liquid bath: Use on damp skin until a lather is produced. Rinse with plenty of water.
Sunflower oil and limewater based cleansing emulsion: Apply emulsion on skin with cotton wool each time diaper is changed. Its soft and delicate formula can be used as many times as necessary.
Cologne: Pour a small amount of cologne in the palm of your hand and gently apply to your baby’s skin and clothes. For babies under 6 months only apply to baby’s clothes.
Breast pads : 1. Take one breast pad from its individual package.
2. Place the breast pad between your breast and the bra. The anti-leak layer in contact with your bra and the soft inside in contact with your nipple.
3. Change the breast pad each time you breast feed your baby. If the leak of milk is abundant, replace pad more frequently.
4. Before breastfeeding and when changing the breast pad, we recommend to carefully wash your nipples and breasts with water and dry them well.
Height meter: Hang the meter on a vertical surface at 90º and 20 cm from the ground.
