Before using for the first time, sterilize all parts in boiling water during 5 minutes. After each use wash all parts separately with lukewarm water, using a neutral detergent, especially the valve. The valve has to be cleaned frequently (depending on its use). Immerse in water with one or two drops of bleach during 5 minutes, then rinse well to eliminate all traces of bleach.
Verify that the valve and the lid are correctly placed for proper functioning. Warning: Take into account that non-spill system is not suitable for juice with pulp, soft drinks or thick liquids; the valve and the holes in the spout can get stuck with thick beverages and make your baby’s suction difficult or impossible. ALWAYS check the food temperature before feeding your baby. Some drops can spill if abruptly shaken or turned upside down. Remember it is not recommended to use this cup with hot drinks.
