Clean the brush, comb and nasal aspirator, toothbrush, bath temperature indicator, handles of scissors and clipper with lukewarm water and soap, rinse them well and dry well. Sanitize the stainless steel blades with an antiseptic solution before using. Do not sterilize the nasal aspirator or any other element of this set.
Nasal aspirator for babies: a) Pinch the air out of the bulb before placing the tip into the nostril, b) press the other nostril and let the air come back into the bulb, repeat with the other nostril (never pinch the air out of the bulb when the tip is inside the baby’s nostril). Do not over introduce the tip inside the opening of the nose. Do not use in mouth or ears.
Set of comb and hair brush: When taking care of your baby’s hair and scalp, brush slowly and gently. Avoid any pressure on baby’s head. Make sure baby’s hair is free of knots.
Scissors and clippers: Hold the baby to avoid sudden movements while trimming its nails. Cut nails straight across, not too close to the skin. For better results, you can clip its nails while sleeping or after the bath when nails are softer and your baby is relaxed.
Baby bath thermometer: When you introduce the bath temperature indicator in hot water (Celsius/ Fahrenheit): If the temperature of the water is 32º , the 90º F indicator will appear on 32º ; if temperature is 33º C, the 91 º F indicator will appear on 33°, and so on. In addition, it is advisable that you also check the water temperature with your elbow or on your wrist to verify thermometer measurement).
